W7: If I had a choice...

When I was a child, there was a stray dog that always stayed outside my house named Melon. I wasn't exactly the owner of the melon, although it stayed outside my house every day and night. I will give her food and a blanket and also play with her. Melon will sometimes disappear, and I won't be able to find her outside of my house, but I'm not worried about it because I can easily find her by walking around the neighbourhood or she will return on her own. At that time I wished to have a dog and I kept begging my parents but they did not agree, saying that it was too dirty to have a dog and even if I had one, there was no extra space for it at home. I felt sad because I could only play with Melon to relieve my boredom everyday. One day, a loud bang startled me. I ran quickly to the outside to check what was going on, and I saw Melon fall into a pool of blood. The car who bang Melon had driven away. People were coming over to look; I was frozen, and it took me a while to come

W2: When I dream...

When I dream...

What is a dream? A "dream" could be what a person sees and hears in their mind when they are sleeping, but another meaning of the word could also be your ambition, ideal, or aspiration.

When I was young, I always wanted to have a pet, but my parents never allowed me to. One of the main reasons is because my mom has asthma, so she's allergic to animals. After I came to Selangor for my studies, I lived alone, so I finally achieved my dream of having a pet. Let me introduce whoever is reading my blog: they are my hedgehogs! The male one is named Bogi, and the female one is named Boba. Hedgehogs are nocturnal creatures, they sleep all day and are awake all night, they can even sleep more than 20 hours a day!


Once I wanted to become a doctor because I wanted to save everyone's life, I wanted to be a vet because I wanted to save every animal's life. Sadly, I didn't achieve my dream of becoming a doctor because I wasn't interested in biology during high school. I'm more interested in physics than biology. After I got graduated from foundation, I realised that I am a more artistic person, so I joined architecture instead of graphic design because my mom felt that architecture was more professional than graphic design.

My ideal job is becoming a graphic designer, because my ideal working environment is anywhere. I wish I could work on my own schedule because I hate working office hours and following the schedule. Another reason why being a graphic designer is my dream job is because I like working with computers and digital work. Besides, one of my strengths is that I have strong curiosity. I like to ask ‘why’, and I will never give up to find an answer. I always ask questions about something I do not know until I get the answer I wanted, this helps me to improve in life. My parent even told me that since the day I know how to talk, I just never stop asking ‘why’, and they always reply me patiently. I have been working as a part-time video editor for almost 3 years already, I really enjoy it because I can earn some pocket money to satisfy my shopping desires and gain more experience!

Sometimes I wish I could turn back time and change the decisions I made...
